As a competent climber and Malvern Active member you can now book the climbing wall for a 90 minute session, at no extra cost.

Climbing uses lots of muscle groups, both in the upper and lower body. Your back, abdominal and leg muscles all get exercised as well as your fingers, shoulders and arms. Regular climbing can improve stamina as well as muscle strength. In addition, all the reaching and stretching for holds improves flexibility and agility.
Beginners Climbing Course for Adults
If you're looking to learn the ropes, our beginner's classes are the safest way to learn the skills required to become a competent belayer and climber. The course covers how to use PPE correctly, basic knots, belaying technique and basic climbing technique.
Dates for 2020: Wednesday 4th Mar, 11th Mar, 18th Mar, 25th Mar, 1st April & 8th April

I have trained at Malvern Active for about 4 and a half years now. Within this time I have made vast improvements physically, due to the support and time invested by the fitness team. This has impacted my life out of the fitness suite, making me a lot more confident and therefore has helped me start to make big steps in my life goals.
